SLP Corvette Cold Air Kit

This is a simple bolt-on installation kit that requires no vehicle modifications. All necessary parts and complete instructions are included. The fibers are extremely uniform and very small, allowing the filter to flow more air and trap smaller particles than do ordinary cotton and oiled-cotton "performance" filters. • Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Disconnect the mass airflow sensor (MAF) and
• inlet air temperature sensor (IAT) connectors.
• Note: On 2001 models, the inlet air temperature sensor is built into the mass
• airflow sensor. Therefore, only the five pin electrical connector at the mass airflow will
• need to be disconnected.
• 2 Loosen the worm gear clamp at the throttle body. Remove the fuel pressure regulator
• vacuum line (if equipped) from the intake bellow. Separate the air intake bellow from
• the throttle body. Disconnect the AIR hose from the cleaner assembly (if equipped).
• 3 Release the intake bellow from the upper radiator support grommet studs by carefully
• prying upward on the rubber air intake bellow grommets. Release the air cleaner assembly,
• with the rubber grommets, from the air cleaner assembly mounting studs.

Remove the seal and worm gear clamp from the air cleaner assembly. Install the seal and

worm gear clamp from the air cleaner assembly to the SLP/Donaldson air filter. Install the

rubber grommets from the air cleaner assembly to the SLP/Donaldson air filter. kit kit kit kit kit kit kit
