14132 Corsa C5 Corvette Exhaust System
Having defined the standard in the aftermarket exhaust industry with their Corvette C5 exhaust systems featuring patented RSC technology, Corsa is ready to take the C6 challenge. Hundreds of hours of tuning and many prototypes have resulted in an exhaust system that screams when you want it to and whispers when cruising. Let's get it installed. The first thing we will need to do is loosen the accu-seal clamp that holds the stock exhaust system the factory H-pipe. This is a Cors Sport system so we will retain the factory H-pipe, if it were a touring system this would also be replaced. Now it is time too remove the rear O2 Sensors. If you are doing this at home and the car is on jack stands, you will not need to remove them. There is enough wire so that you could set the h-pipe on the ground without disconnecting them. If the car is on a lift than you will need to remove them. You can leave them plugged in and just unscrew them from the pipe. Once you have the front bolts out, the only thing holding the H-pipe in place is the brace that hold it just forward of the transmission. Patented non-restrictive Straight-through design reduces back pressure and frees up additional power. ess back pressure and more power means your engine functions more efficiently and that translates into better fuel economy (if you can keep your foot out of it). 14132, Corvette C5 1997-2004 XTREME Exhaust System (Rear Section ONLY-Does not include XO-Pipe) w/ Twin 3.5" Pro-Series Tips; Only for vehicles already equipped w/ an XO-Pipe/Crossover Pipe Cors Exhausts are founded on a combination no other exhaust can deliver: total resonance cancellation, exhilarating horsepower gains, true performance sound and improved fuel economy. Cancels unwanted "droning" interior resonance at cruising speeds, thanks to Corsa's patented aerospace-grade Power-Pulse RSCT muffler technology.
